Home on Spring Break for a week and since the weather is supposed to be pretty nice I'm heading out. Where are they hitting and what are they hitting on? Also, wouldn't mind trying to get into some walleye!!!

Depends on where you like to fish. They are biting north and south, but not exactly everywhere on the north end from what iv found. Most colors with chartruese in them are working. To early for the walleye frenzy yet on the lake, some to be had below the dam though. Good luck.

fished south end sat and sun. most fish were 10 to 15 ft on brush or stumps for us. i agree with birdman too , lots of good cover didn't have any fish yet. i was fishing yellow / chartruce glow. worked well. water temp was 42 sun, but that should be going up a lot this week. walleye probably a couple weeks away for me. tues looks like perfect day this week . time to go get'm .

Went a few days ago to one of my fav. spots, did real well. Could have had my limit, but wasn't fishing to keep anything, fishing for fun. They are not thumping the jig yet, but sev. females fat with eggs. Pulled the jig out of some nice biguns because of the lack of bite or it being my second time out for the year.

I did well Wednesday fishing any channel bank with laydowns. Using shad colored jigs. Fished around Eagle ramp and #3
