    Hit the Ville this mornig, got on the lake around 9:00. The morning bite was on. Caught a ton of crappie 10-13 ft deep on orange jib head with yellow/chart. tube jig stuffed with nibbles. Bigger crappie were caught at the 12ft mark on orange jig head with black/chart tube jigs stuffed with nibbles. I was 3shy of my limit on big ones but the walleye keeper made up for it. A big thanks you to the jon boat that had to tow me in......DEAD BATTERY!!

    I like to catch a few walleye for a change of pace from crappie fishing once in a while . I hear they bite good in the spring but do anyone catch many in the fall ?
