Nice catch Kyle. Congrats on the river tourny also. I think Greg was at Kinkaid yesterday also.

Had a trip on Kinkaid today. Fish were on fire!!! Been real busy so I haven' t had much time to post lately. Had some good quality with most ranging between 10 and 12 inches but did have a few around 1 1/2 lbs and 1 big fish a little over 2 lbs! Fishing has been good for a couple weeks and should be for some time! Jigs and minnows were working but the best bite was on minnows by far!

Did better size wise this Thurs than last week! Big fish was a hair over 17 1/2" and weighed right at 2 1/2lbs!!! Had 25 over 1 1/2lb.
Nice! Very Nice! Good job Kyle!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
My brother and I were with Greg on Friday. Great guy and he knows his crappie. We did very good, probably had over 100, with 56 keepers. 3 or 4 nice crappie, Greg returned one 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. I wish I could say we had "25 over 1 1/2" but wasn't our day I guess. We did have a great time and I would highly recommend giving Greg a call for a entertaining and successful day. Thanks again Greg.
Went on my first trip to Kincaid Lake last weekend 7/16/11 - 7/18/11. Armed with nothing but a map and minnows we caught 15 keepers each per day and only stopped at 15 Monday because we ran out of time and minnows around 10:30 in the morning. They were still hitting well. Not bad for going blind and in the middle of July with 105 degree heat indexes and 89 degree water surface temp. Lots of 10" - 12" but the bonus was the 16" SLAB I got Saturday. Had a 14" and a couple 13" ones too. Lots of visible laydowns and trees make this lake a good lake to fish even if you don't know it very well. I can just imagine how good it will be once I get more familure with it. The 16" slab was enough to convince the group to move the yearly spring trip from Rend Lake to Kincaid Lake and I'll be back a few more times this fall to scout it out more.
