    Default Rend 5-15

The lady and I hit rend yesterday. First time jiggin the brush. the cold rain made us wish we hadn't drove all the way down there but once we hit the first brush pile that changed...had our overs in maybe 45 minutes. Spent the next 2 hours trying to get some bigger unders weeded through some nice fish. Caught around 150 or so total in 3 hours jigging in the brush. Took home 20 overs and 14 unders and a couple channel cats.. Had a great time despite the nasty weather.

Yeah I thought I saw all the crappie extreme trucks at the ramp. Were going to probably go back down this weekend and try to get a few more ...looks like the weather will be nasty again this coming weekend as well

With Rend being at 100% conservation pool and 100% flood pool how are ramps (especially at State Park and resort)?

Funny you say that mike I just got done with a afternoon of cattin. Put 16 nice bluecats in the boat in 2 hours between 8-32lbs. 3 fish over 20lbs and one 32lber. Nothing gonna make me give up my cats lol but I do say yankin those big crappie out of the brush does give it a run for its money lol mu fiance is the opposite she'd much rather catch craps. She says I don't have a say so that I'm taking her back this weekend for more slabs
