    I heard all the crappie left Lake Mattoon. They left a note that said the water was too muddy and it burned their eyes. Probably shouldn't waste your time trying that lake.

    Nope they still there. I bet they went over the spill way. To weak from all the mud.

    The note I found said. " Due to the parking lot being empty". We have decided to go elsewhere and have dinner with people who are not full of it.
    I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

    I went to Mattoon today, and im definantly not going back there every day this week. dadgum fishin started getting better and all them water skiers skeered them off......wish i could learn how to do some multi species fishin'

    Yes they did. That was the biggest Crappie that I ever caught out of lake Mattoon. Very good fish
