I just returned from fishing at Kentucky lake for four days, and from what I'm reading on hear I should have stayed and fished Shelbyville.

The crappie where all but done spawning and had pulled out to creek channels, so the spider riggers where doing very well. I saw one guy on Thurs. cleaning 170 very nice big crappie that he and his two buddies had caught just that day. (yes I know thats over the limit).

My partner and I where still able to catch a few, some very nice size. but no big numbers. The food down there was great, we ate like pigs. and as always everyone down there is very nice.

The shell crackers are just now going to beds, so if anyone whats to fish for them now is the time to go. they are a lot of fun to catch on little ultra lite rigs.

sorry no pics. my 5 year old neighbor has'nt shown me how to do it yet.

Sounds like you,ve got the same timing as me--Bream is my first choice if theres any size to them---
