Marabou jig, Northland Zoo Plankton, Forage Minnow.
Let's hear what your go to bait is for catching slabs through the ice!
I usually go with the tried and true minnow and jig but I've also had some pretty good luck with maribou jigs

Marabou jig, Northland Zoo Plankton, Forage Minnow.
My two favorite....4 mm. tungsten w/plastic and the King of crappie ice lures, the Swedish Pimple. Hands down the most prolific ice spoon made!
My favorite is the Hali jig in chartreuse perch color but they come in many colors. I have done well with all the colors. I usually bait it with a waxworm or maggot.

Try the bink's ice spoon with chain dropper hooks. Better quality and better value.
Kbaker....I've looked at Binks spoons. Really like them. Will definitely order some for next season for sure!
Minnows are very hard to beat in cold water. If the fishing is hot I like a small silver cast master with a mousy. They usually hit it when I stop jigging. Three or four 2 inch jigs then a 3 or 4 second pause.
When I'm jigging,I will always drill some holes for dead sticking. I will run minnows off my dead sticks. Sometimes the fish want the minnows and sometimes they want the jigs. Alot of times, they want both. I have put alot of fish on the ice using this method.
