    I signed up this year....I used to spend most of my ice time chasing perch...but the last two years have been terrible. Since I bought a vex I thought id give the specs a shot.. Im glad I did its quickly becoming my favorite fish to target on the ice ....btw thanks for the advice and happy b-day wishes.

    How thick is your ice now & have you been getting any more fish???
    We have 3 foot of ice next to nothing for snow.

    We still have 12"-15" of ice out there in the local area and about 20" of snow which is starting to turn into about 10" of slush in places. With the heavy deep snow, it is making foot travel fun, right, not.

    I plan on getting back out there next week on monday. I have a few new jigs to try out, and if they don't cut it, it's back to old faithful.
