    those are some totally awesome gills and crappie there, a bass or two, too, sweet. WTG

    Do the gills hang near the bottom or suspend? Got a lake just getting safe ice that has gills. Your pics have inspired me...........

    hard to say, if you dont have a sonar, just start near the bottom, if no bites, make one crank,that sould lift it a foot, try that, then another foot, til you start getting em

    Been doing pretty good on the perch and Blue Backs (landlocked Salmon) but can't find the gills yet. Several of our lakes are good and safe now. Looks like we may have a good ice fishing season here in north Idaho. I hope all of those who have been waiting for ice get theres soon......

    Nice bluegills real fatties thin ice here in New York about 3 to 4" but it's black ice we got some nice slabs in Greenwood lake.

    Nice pics.I think our ice is done,we got alot of rain earlier in the week.Some lakes the ice is done.Sherry wants to check our lake today.I've been out 6 times so far,would like to get out some more.

    We will have ice until mid April.
    Watch for the next report.
    Barron and I will be on the lake together scaring the crap out of those poor pannies.
