2014 brushy creek iowa trip

Ok guys I first off owe an apology to Ed and other members of the site. I ended up loosing my camera on this trip and then forgot to post the pics I did get from other people.

I put together a group outing of guys from iceshanty.com for the first annual Iowa get together. I invited Slab to come along but due to scheduling he couldnt make it. He was kind enough to send me a care pack of hats, calenders, and stickers for me to hand out on the trip.

We didn't get much of a turn out due to rough weather but it was something I wont forget any time soon. Good times all around.

Yep good times by all. That walleye was a personal best at 27+ and just shy of 8 lbs

wow that looks like a ton of fun to me. I love to ice fish and those are some big crappies and a huge walleye Congratulations looks like a fun time by all

This lake is quickly becoming one of the top lakes in the state but it is incredibly tough to fish as there is so much structure. You can't run a crankbait more that 100 yards without sagging even over 50ft of water

wow that's a lot of cover for sure sounds like a jigging paradise to me
