I like this idea, Patoka Lake in southern indiana frezzes but not enought to get me on it. but Osborne Ramp had a Handicap accsee ramp that has 2-25 ft of water, good crappie population under it. My ice house is a Pop-up deer blind,My sled is a kids little red wagon, got two coleman heaters and a lawn chair, got 4 ice fishing rods I'm ready when the ice gets here. If no ice use the same as above and fish any way. lookin forward to the tips people give

But, it looks like Crappiekid's PM was the first one that Ed took notice of ... (I'm just guessing about that, though).

If you want to help moderate the board, I don't think there'd be a problem with that. Just PM Ed and ask. I doubt that Crappiekid would mind the help.

I don't think Ed meant to slight you or your idea for this board. I was as surprised as you, when I read Ed's intro post. ....... cp

This is a great idea, I live for ice fishing. Been getting ready since June. Signed up for tournamnets in Michigan and New York. Thinking about maybe going to Wisconsin too. An outside chance of a trip to Minnesota also.

Here in PA we, like many others, had terrible conditions last year. This year is starting out great. The lows the next 4-5 days are in the low 30's to upper 20's!

Bring it on, LET'S HEAR FROM YOU FELLOW PA ICE FISHERMEN!

    Default It won't be long!!

Getting nabbed by our local warden on my way to the "food pantry" for senior citizens with a load of crappies, taken during the 2005 Super trap.....Filleted, the donated fish ,fed over 150 seniors and treated them to a delicious panfish meal that most had not enjoyed in years!....I filleted all of those for the feed.......minus a few the game warden confiscated for his mom. :D
This years Super trap on Redstone is Sunday february 18th and will be 150 two man....pre registered teams from all over the country, species will be 8 crappie and 7 bluegills per team during the 6 hour tournament, if you like competitive fishing for crappie...register early for this event as it fills every year early. Mandatory meeting held the Night before at voyageur Inn....in Reedsburg, Wi. contact lobybiz@lobybaits if interested in the event....also great "KIDS CLINIC" with classroom seminar and "On the Ice" fishing on Saturday feb. 17th 10a.m. May also register directly on www.iceteam.com website for all of the superTrap series events.
