How is your gadget mounted to the troller?
How is the troller in shallow water - like 10 feet or less?
My local river has a lot of 4' and 6' area.

The Troller is slotted. The mount is notched to form a tight fit when the Troller is inserted. I sold several and have had good reports. Use mine all the time. i don,t fish that shallow so i can,t tell you. I would say just as good as any other water.

I got one of the bases from Bee and they are well made. Called Cabelas and ordered a bag and i'm all set. A carbon copy of Bee's showdown.

I picked up the Show Down Troller last year and it has really increased my hook up ratio and its putting more fillet on the table ! That big bar at 15 feet is my Tungsten Tear drop jig and everything else is yellow Perch, the second photo are the same Perch on the other side of the ice ! Thumbs Up I talked to John in customer service at the end of May and everything was going Gangbusters for them at that time !

I have a Vex FL 18 it's great for winter, but never tried it in open water fishing. Maybe I should try it some night while anchored for Crappie?
