I love to pheasant hunt, I got to go last fall with a group of about 25 guys. We went to the Oklahoma panhandle. We each took home 3 days limit. Didn't have to hunt past noon any of the days we were up there. There's nothing like a big rooster taking off right under your feet to get the blood a flowing.

For all the bird hunters, take good care of the skins you get the fly tyers and jig tyers would love to have them!!!!! or trade for them!!! Duck, pheasant, turkey, partridge we use em all.

I have several pheasant wings and tail feathers right now, I don't tie flies so I don't know if they are in the condition needed for those guys that do, but if somebody would be interested in trading some hand tied jigs I could get them some pictures of what I've got and see what kind of deal we can make.

I know there are outfitters in south dakota that offer pheasant duck combo hunts. Usually hunt ducks in the morning and the pheasant in the afternoon. If a guy could get away to get up there I'm sure it would be a blast.
