    Default Bird hunt in rough conditions


    Yesterday we had 20-30 mph winds and spitting snow for our bird hunt at Over Under game birds in Flatwoods KY.
    Dogs and guide were great. Ended up with 9 quail and 2 pheasants

    Nice !!

    Went pheasant hunting back 50 odd years ago ... on a day that the weatherman had designated a "weather warning" for low temps and heavy snowfall. Actually got off two shots & killed one bird. The weather conditions on the ride there looked a lot like what's in your pics, but the ride home in several inches of already fallen snow & the near whiteout conditions of the continuously falling snow was a bit more "exciting" than the downing of the bird.
