    They are said to pair well with collard greens or so I am told

    I traded some venison to a co-worker who was a master coon cooker. She barbeques it. Collard greens,, corn bread, and another side I can't remember. It wasn't any greasier than a pork roast. Tender and tasty. But little I said, she was a master. Worst part was the carcass after eating it kind of looked like a cat!

    LOL....bones werent removed before eating?!? Maybe sweet potatoes?!? Coons are only greasy when skinning them. They aint greasy when cooked. Ketchn, looks like you need a few dp traps.

    I think it was sweet potatoes. The meat was so tender it fell off the bones.
