Default WOW , how cool is that ?

it is my opinion that the injured deer is a young buck , thought it was doe for a long time , but it has definitive lil bumps on it's lil head .
but imagine this , this last week the images on the cameras show that horrible shoulder wound in a state of miraculous healing !
Looks like we called the vet to come sew it up I swear .....how cool is that I ask ya .....
according to the dates on the camera images the length of time was longer than I thought , my wife said it was 2 months ago when it happened and I thought 3 or 4 weeks ....
it seems to be about 8 weeks this week after going back thru thru the images and to be sure what a super nice job he did licking it all back into place !

Animals will fight it out to the end. They have no understanding of giving in or giving up

seen a buck with hard horn years ago with a super size similar to that wound on its rump . missing at least the size of pumpkin patch off its hindquarter , it was inside a large high fence and the word was given to harvest it if you see it during a hunt .
he slipped all the hunters the entire season and at the end of the year he was on camera with about the size of a quarter lil patch still bare .....
totally amazed me and was sure he was done for when I saw it the first time on camera

Had a nubbin on camera a couple years ago like that and the next year he had healed up nicely and was a nice little 8 pt his first rack! I wouldn't have even believed it was him if not for the large scar. My wife and I named him "Skinner" from all the trail camera pics we had of him.

some folks on another platform think this lil one got hit by a high arrow as it jumped the string , this is pretty much not a possibility at our place as we do not have local bow hunting in our area or on our place .
those of you that have ever been hung in barbed wire fences and seen what it can do in a struggle to the skin of what gets into it, know full well that it is quite possible to get a good skinning from it .
it does amaze me nonetheless to see how well these animals can get along after such a terrible wound .
