    hmmmmm , thats wild for sure , BUT I once trapped one accidently using sardines as bait in a coon trap and me thunk beavers ONLY ate wood back then as well .....

    Plant corn along a creek with beavers they'll destroy large areas,they eat it and build dams and houses out of stocks....

    In nature it is hard to pass up an easy meal. Corn tend to be a woodland buffet. Seen coyotes stand and eat out of a corn pile
    The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

    They will eat acorns as well. Cool animals.
    But can be very destructive.

    I've trapped alot of beaver here in Pa and they will eat corn. A farmer sent me in on a beaver dam one time around one of his fields. I discovered that the beavers built their dam out of not only wood but they used corn stalks as well. They did alot of damage.
