Thread: at least the weather was nice

dicey at first ....looked like it would hit us , then hailed a bit and rained a minute and poof it was gone .....
hogs were a no show YET AGAIN and we saw only 22 deer ....
need to go deer hunting soon to see some hogs for sure ...
you would think we would see one or 2 with all the camera action I swear

this is what the deal is there , for whatever reason the doe numbers are always small 8 or 10 ....
the other 10 or 12 will be bucks of various age groups .....
so it might seem the herd runs large ,but they run a big area out there and some will NOT return this fall ....
some years we have 30 ish running thru ....
we only harvest 1 deer a year most years , none the last year and 2 the year before ...
like to see lots of deer on our place is me ...
