    now mind you this about that , I love seeing all the wildlife at our place in the country , but to be sure nothing gets me more interested than seeing the bucks on our place in velvet and watching them grow the next set of antlers.
    watched the Boys go across the pasture to our place yesterday morning about 6 30 am to our cover and they went on thru it to the feeder in the woods according to the camera time and date .
    There are 8 in the boy herd most of the time with a straggler or 2 that hang either alone or with the does , both of them are baby bucks from last year best I can tell.
    velvet bucks just look so terribly cool , the hard horned version makes my trigger finger itch , but the soft horn ones make my heart all happy ....just saying

    I truly enjoy watching the bachelor groups, this time of year.
    Are you seeing many fawns Ketchn?
    I have yet to find my first one this year and we are in prime time.

    we saw one under a tree with mom driving to our place and one one our camera so far this year , our grass is really tall this year with the rain , bet there are lots we aint seeing in it ....

    that one buck is growing something odd it seems and he has some nice mass , bet he looks pretty nifty when he ripens this fall ....
