Default Exotic Auodad on our place-- not Texas

Size: 45.8 KB Another member in my hunt club sent me this picture. It looks like a Auodad? We do not know where it came from..but it was on our 3000 acre club yesterday. Another guy swore there was a red stag on our place 12 years ago. We sometimes hog hunt during the spring and summer..if this Auodad shows itself someone will be eating Auodad back strap for lunch. I hunted a cattle ranch in the Hill Country of Texas and saw Axis deer, some kind of Japanese deer and a blackbuck antelope. I did shoot the Axis and it was very good eating. Escaped Exotics were free ranging on and off the ranch..fencing was regular height 5 strand barbed wire for cattle. We don't have pythons on our place yet.

Yes it would. I have plenty of meat in jars and in freezer..but I would take this one and be real choosy during deer season and take one buck instead of two. The Auodad must be traveling likely looking for his/her/its buddys.. One of my friends got one in Texas and he says they are good eating and both males and females have horns/antlers. As far as we know We only have 2 bears on our place and one panther has been seen. I hope the Auodad still has some natural fight or flight instincts and I really hope there is more than one.

Somebody lost a few Auodad..The hog trapper on the 6000 acres next to ours saw 3 by our gate last week. One of the guys on my Hunt Club got pics of a female with a very young one the other day.
