    Default First Woodies!

Bagged two wood duck drakes last week. Also got my first gadwall. Woodies are absolutely gorgeous birds. In the hand, I was astonished at the stunning array of colors they have. I adorned my cowboy hat with one of their feathers to commemorate the occasion.

In the taste department, I must say they were the best duck I have had. I wish all ducks could be wood ducks! LOL.

Glory be to God for delivering them into my hand! I am very blessed to bag these beautiful birds. Y’all hunt safe.

    Best,

I built a nesting box and a pair set up house. She could hit the small hole at 80 mph and in. Amazing sight to behold.

    Congratulations.
Maybe they will bite this one……
