Nikon isn’t going out of business just not making rifle scopes anymore. Article explains.

got 4 pairs of binoculars and 3 scopes , all are top notch and some are VERY old , the rubber eye cups on one of the binoculars are about gone and they been thru everything you can imagine and are still crystal clear , rain shine hot cold or whatever the conditions are.

I have 3 or 4 of the Nikon prostaff scopes and love them for the money. Since Nikon quit making scopes they have been hard to find. I recently bought a couple Arken scopes. I have not mounted them on anything yet but I have a friend that has a few and I really liked them. They are a little more money than the Nikon's but I feel like they are comparable to some of the mid range scopes out there for a little less money.

YES, I was referring to the scope manufacturing . The Redfield (now owned by Leopold )may be the best lower end scope out there . Same warranty as leupold . (IF MADE IN THEIR PLANT ).
