I’d rather have chili then tomatoes anyway…..lol
They ate my tomatoes last night. Down to nothing but stems. Even ate the the 30 green tomatoes on the plants. They will be invited to a food plot this winter. Then a trip to the grinder. Venison chilli and spaghetti

Well you set out brush pile PVC thingies. Attracted them to the garden.
Maybe they will bite this one……
Yeah. They need to go to the water. I will go on a nocturnal deployment trip to drop them off

Mine are down to the stalks. They were some Roma and Cherokee Purple heirloom plants. They don't like the cherry tomatoes

Cherokee Purple are the best! I went to Tomatopalooza several years back and tasted around 200 varieties. That next year I think I grew like 20 or more varieties from seeds I saved from there. Many years later my wife and I have settled on just a handful with Cherokee Purple number one. I actually met Craig LeHoullier and have his book Epic Tomatoes. He lives in Raleigh, NC and named the Cherokee Purple. Very interesting and knowledgeable guy on tomatoes if your interested.
