    I have several at the back and one up by the house and the road. It has the leaves and berries eaten off the lower branches. The big boys come out in the middle of the night for a snack. Had a monster last year up by the houseeating berries

    Sure do love em. We have 4 persimmon trees in the back yard. In the fall the deer lay under them waiting for them to drop.

    I had to look it up. I had never heard that term. It is some interesting wood. Supposed to be good for smoking meat also
