These do a fine job, but the real kicker is that they create tons of real pork rinds called Cracklins. I am not a big fan of cracklins but do enjoy digging into the loins and getting after that sweet meat.

In addition we will have fried Gator Tail and shrimp and Lil Smokies. I plan to make a nice fruit tray and a pickle tray. Beans and of course other stuff to round things out. Beer….lots of beer, wine and liquor. My wife is responsible for decorating of course and she has some pretty good ideas. The dogs are very excited and can’t wait.

I suppose your hogs will move away if you get to shooting them too much. If that is a concern then shoot them away from the feeder and leave that as a safe spot.

I had a troop of hogs showing up recently. Hadn’t ever seen a hog on my property before then. They were around for a few weeks then gone and haven’t been back. Could be they were searching for food or they might have been running away from some locals.

Right now I have a female turkey hanging out. She walks around pecking and scratching for bugs. Every year one shows up because she has a clutch of eggs nearby. She will remain alone until the eggs hatch, at which time she will leave in search of other mama hens. They mix the babies in together and everybody keeps and eye out for them. A mad turkey can be quite challenging you know.
so if I got invited and just hovered around the big ole bowl of little smokies it would all be good hopefully ....just saying

Sounds like too much good eats there just to saddle oneself with just little smokies
