    Default Trapping time

We need to remove various predators from our place in the country . So I took my daughter to the place and we trapped a racoon .
She and I put the trap near a feed pen for the deer and caught one that night . We opted for cherry danish as bait and at one point my daughter said "Dad quit eating the bait! "
I explained it was just to make sure they would approve of it .....
hopefully it appreciated being set free 20 miles away , the jury was hung a bit on kill it or let it go somewhere else .
Mom really didn't want us to expire it , the daughter has little remorse though and was clear about we should kill it ....

Had 2 large ones destroy my suet feeders a couple nights ago. Put out the rest of my seed and told the birds to blame those coons! Bear should be roaming soon. Hopefully by May seed price will be down and I can get back to feeding. Btw, I have a similar trap. The coons I trapped only wished they got a ride and release.

I make many of them expire here along with fox especially when they terrorize my chickens.
