    there were actually more than you can see in the image , they sure love them there bluestem long grass fields

    They disappear in that environment. Blend in really well

    we have some herds that live close to our house out on the open prairie just west of dfw , barely a tree bigger than a rose bush out in those fields and the deer thrive out there . they can lay down and become totally invisible in high grass for sure ...

    Hard to see them in that grass for sure. They called it broom sage where I hunted. Same color as the deer.
