Labor of love for sure and we put in a floor like that in kitchen. now we have a very comfortable place to go and don't have to do anything, which is good as we are now in our 70's and time to just relax fish and hunt plus visit with all the neighbors. my son and his crew love the place so that's good.

you know isn't that always the way? your bud was just settling in for a good nap and dang it that herd of porkers comes in to disturb him. Well she got what she deserved and her little piggie too! WTG

Nothing like the muzzle blast of a gun to motivate one into alertness

and yes sir , mom looked about a year or less old and the little about 2.5 or so months old .
will finish them up this morning and start giving away some nice fresh pork this afternoon.
that momma pig had 1 to 2 inches of thick fat under her skin , she sure was pretty all skinned out ....
stay tuned and will shall see if luck still prevails when I smoke one of those hams
Looking forward to the smoker pics.
