What a man does in the privacy of his own home
I modified my mother in law's Swiss steak to exchange squirrel for round steak. Have a couple possible ingredient volunteers cutting in the oaks behind my house. Season opens next week. I only need six! Plus I've been investigating making my own fly dubbing from squirrel hair. Hope nobody questions me about " shaving my squirrels"!

Looking forward to getting after em here in 2-3 weeks if it cools down!
I look forward to seeing the finished product. Sounds pretty tasty.
Be better to eat them before they can eat the wiring in your attic
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
They like to run across the street and then turn back and get run over, feel sorry for the critters.
I don't eat them but I like them.
we call them pancake squirrels here if the make the fatal mistake of a u turn in the road , not many folks hunt squirrel in Texas and we are flat out loaded with them big fox squirrels,
heck we have no season or bag limit there are so many last time I checked ...

I love to hunt them with my Gamo pellet rifle, my .22, and at times will bust out the Benelli 12qauge when I'm having problems filling out the recipe!
we shotgun em when we actually hunt them most of the time , spring when the leaves are full and the young ones are about is the Texas thing and we shoot the little ones , the big ones are leather tough
