    i own 3 pairs of Nikons and have looked thru a ton of glass over the years .
    i dont typically worry much about my glass as they dont cost tons of cash .
    but they are durable and will pull in detail quite well .
    that all said you wont likely find really suitable optics for much under a 100 from what i have seen .
    there are cheaper ones out there and burris and leupold and on and on make good glass to .
    50 objectives are a must for me in low light conditions
    that is something i might add as a tip on a bino purchase .
    more compact glass dont gather as much light .

    Another thing to consider.... Even cheap "glass" is clear when it's new.

    Whatever you do, don't leave a store with anything that says Bushnell, Barska, BSA, or Tasco on it.
