Thread: Another Good Thanksgiving Week

The week started with an unsuccessful trip to Illinois for my oldest daughter. We battled the crowded public lands during the first shotgun season and came up empty handed even though we saw deer pretty much every sit. Good thing is with all the people we never felt unsafe.

My youngest was able to shoot her biggest buck so far with my oldest daughter shooting a doe the same afternoon. My oldest daughter also was able to shoot her first deer while hunting alone. Scout was able to go on 4 tracks and get more experience under her belt. All in all it was a good Thanksgiving week with the family in the woods.
