Man's best friend's are hard to find in humans but easy in dogs! I've had 3 Irish setters, 2 that were hunters and 2 labs with one being a good hunting buddy! My best setter "Jason" I think would shoot a gun if he could. He loved the sounds of guns because he knew something good was soon to be found!

In a very good way, I’m envious of you. You are living a life I can only dream of. So glad that I can live my dreams through you. Living in the south limits bird hunting and being in FL almost has you in a strangle hold. I don’t duck hunt and public land is either over populated or second rate. If you’re lucky you might get to a dove shoot but don’t count on it. I lived in TN for ten years and was hunting dove every year and took some pen pheasant one year. That just fueled an already hotly burning fire. I satisfy my urges with clays and try to put together trips to chase birds, though most fall apart for one reason or another. I wear a big smile when I see folks with the relationship that you and your dog share. It just plain awesome. The pic with the dog and the pheasant would be on my wall if I were in your shoes. Enjoy your hunts and time together, and thanks for taking me along......Skeet
