Take a look at Hornady American Gunner rounds. They are not match grade but are capable of producing sub MOA groups out past 1000 yards
They are bowtail hollow point bullets in 140 grain
Shot out of a 24in barrel, they produce 2690 FPS with a very good ballistic coefficiant of .580/G1
The below information is based on a mil dot scope providing 1/10mil per click
Zero at 100 yards
At 250 yards you need to adjust .8mils (8 clicks)
at 500 yards you need 2.9 mils (29 clicks)
At 750 yards you need 5.6 mils (56 clicks)
at 1000 yards you need 9.1 mils (91 clicks)
If you want to convert that, 1 mil equals roughly 3.6 inches at 100 yards.
So, take your drop rate and multiply by 3.6 to get your drop rate in inches at the above distances.
Based on the above, the round would be 2.88 inches low at 250 yards
Hope that helps. They are much flater shooting than a .308 with similar ammo and barrel
