I had a need for a new, taller box blind so I am building it at my place then transport it to where it goes. Not a nail in it. All screws and bolts. Having to build it by myself was a little more difficult than I expected. Started with 16' 4" X 4" post.
I wasn't sure how to get the upper cross members up there by myself then I remembered that the Egyptians built the pyramids and monuments using just ropes to raise things.
The ground slops about a foot so it appears that it is not level but that is an optical illusion.
It is 14' to the roof and the floor is 7" from the ground with the inside being 6'5" from floor to ceiling. The shallow end has the post set 24" deep with the deep end has the post setting 32" deep. Of course post depth will change when I move it to its permanent location. It will have to be disassembled to move.
