Wanting to build a couple new blinds for different locations on my place. Would love to spend a whole lot of money. What do you all use?

I built a portable box blind on a small trailer out of lumber I sawed on my mill, much like a portable ice fishing shed.Another idea I may try is to take a cattle panel and form it like a round bale, then covering it with camo.

I use cheap stud grade Pine 2 x 4 for a frame and the cheapest paneling material I can find ...a corrugated metal roof and I build them about 4 x 4 x 4 and only sit down inside them .....
Should be able to keep the cost well under 50 bucks ...maybe even under 25 if you use your imagination and free stuff you find here and there ...

We use the empty chemical tanks, stack one on another, cut the sides out, leave top on & raise it up with conduit or pvc ?

    Default Stand

About $40 on the ground and $200 sixteen feet in the air. It's three sheets of 7/16 OSB and a handful of 2x2's. I can send the supervisor (pictured) to instruct you, but you gotta feed her.

If you have a metal building company near you, check with them on their scraps. I found one and they gave me anything I wanted in their scrap bin. I found sheets 4' long or so that was perfect to come up to the windows and one side of the roof. I lined with styrofoam sheets and made it really warm and quiet. Heated very easy. It will last forever.
I put several on 20' legs.
