Thread: Homemade Deer blinds and stands?

This is me in my ground blind 2 weeks ago on opening morning.


Shot this 6 pointer from my blind 2 hours after legal shooting time on opening morning.


Ground blind- simple, camp chair painted flat green. Camo burlap cut into a poncho and draped over me. That buck was less than 30' from me when I shot him. I had to switch from right handed to left handed to get the shot. He walked 10' yards into the woods behind me and laid down for his final sleep.
