I have busted something similar and remember them bouncing off my target
Purchased them so many years ago I can't remember where or why.

That's ammo for woody's gun in toy story!
Found they will dispatch gophers from a .22 snubbie. First time I've tried them. Rather useless really for any practical purpose. Still can't remember why or where I got them.

never shot those. we used to shoot a bunch of 22CBs though. the longs were more accurate than the shorts and enough for squirrels in town. quieter than the high power pellet gun!

binfordw where do you find such a gun?
That ones an Air Arms TDR (Take down rifle).
Lots of places carry Air Arms, Pyramyd air, Straightshooters, Airgun Depot are a few of the bigger ones.
Some (ok most) of the Precharged guns get pretty pricey, but man oh man there are some really nice shooters out there. In the past decade the bigger caliber stuff has really gained popularity here in the states, lots of manufacturers offer .30 models now.
I own a couple low budget precharged (PCP) guns as well. They can be really nice shooters with a little fine tuning.
