Thread: Can't explain the spots..............

I've heard of the little orbs but like you, never sat down and had a conversation with anyone into that line of thinking. Kind of hope they come back and visit that feeder
just to see them again. A head scratcher for sure.

When I was a kid in the 70's we use to go to this place in extreme southeastern Missouri between Joplin and a little town called Seneca and watch what was locally called "The Spook Light". It was a long straight dirt road, miles long, out in the country and there were always a ton of people up and down the road watching for the light. When it did appear it would it looked like the light in your photo's. It would move to the side of the road, come at you straight, just moved all around while continuing to head your way. It was always explained off as a ball of gas. The only thing was was that this ball of gas kept coming back night after night. I hear there are other places that have the same thing, I haven't been back to this particular one since that time. That's my explanation for ya and I'm stickin to it!
