    Default Game Camera

I know infrared is better but I still have an older flash I've had for years and still works great. I've got 100's of pictures off it, most at night and only saw a handful of the bigger bucks during daylight hours. I'm in a new club this year and I'm thinking of not using it because of the flash maybe scaring the deer. Am I thinking wrong or has anybody had any problems spooking the the deer with the flash? Thanks

I don't think consecutive shots like this would happen if a flash was used. Believe it would spook the deer.

I have done lots of testing with white flash, infrared, and black flash. Every camera I use is a black flash except one and I only use it on day mode...

Funny how all the rage for several years was Infrared. Then went to black flash. You couldn't buy conventional flash for a long time. Then, all of a sudden, all of them came back out with options to purchase regular flash. Personally, I've used them all. Black flash is great because there is nothing for them to see. Unfortunatlely, it also doesn't do near as good of job as Inrared. Sure, dear see the flash on the camera but, for the most part, it doesn't spook them at all. I have mature bucks coming back night after night to get their photo taken on flash cameras just as they do with infrared. I would love to tell you the same for black flash but.. you just can't see as good with em so I couldn't tell you if they come back night after night

Ahh,they just think its lightning, or that's what I got told. I don't deer hunt,or have any game cameras for hunting, but thought I'd just mention the lightning.

Remember back in the day we didn't have cameras, electric feeders, or food plots.

I personally like the infrared cameras that report to your email address or send you a mms. Maybe one day I will have a live streaming feed to my laptop so I can watch my stand while in my office or the camper 🙄
