Oh yes! Definitely know the itch. Haven't hunted in 7 years and would give anything to have that view. Of course my next pick would be one of them fat does hanging from a skinning rack (if legal of course). I do not discriminate. They all eat just fine.

you would sure enough do enjoy this particular spot in the woods . they don't always go to the feeder because the neighbors across the road grow all kinds of crops. but one thing for certain they come out in numbers and cross at about 50 yards in herds right before dark and walk across an open field right in front of this stand . this stand has been on the ground in that spot for a VERY long time and they never even look at it ...sure makes for a super afternoon sit . I don't typically take any doe until after I take a buck ...then one is about the limit for me . one large hog, one good buck and a nice doe will get us thru the year ...
last year I took the large hog in the morning opening day and a nice ten point at about 4 pm that day .....
the sad part of that hunt was the drive out with the ten point and having one in the field by the front gate that made the ten look like a bambi .....

Huntin spot sounds like heaven. And a solid plan on harvest as well.

It's going to be. Hit the driver door. The deer ran into the car. Luckily nobody was hurt. The car can be fixed.
