thats going to be some fine eating
I had some hogs get around the house just before Christmas, set the trap & caught 3. The big sow went to the freezer & other 2 went to a holdin pen at the huntin camp. Hadn't ever had too many get this close to the house before so I figured they were gone after catchin these 3.
Well last week some more came back & destroyed my neighbors pasture, we set the trap again & had to wait a few days for them to come back but ended up catchin 3 more. 1 big sow & 2 boar, all went to the freezer this time. Guess it will be time to have a cookout this weekend & eat up some meat - got a feelin there's some more close by.

Congrats. Hope you have the same luck I've had and none come back.
Them boars would be much better table fare if you would have castrated them.........then fed them hog feed with some fish meal mixed in for a bit,

Yup, I know - I started raisin domestic pigs when I was in high school & did it for years. Then started catchin some wild ones when I would get nuisance calls & kept them
pinned up for a while. Had plenty of pork year round, pens started to fall apart & got tired of all the extra work so I tore them down - wish I still had a place to keep em sometimes.
