    Default Bushwackin Bushytails, the video

Nothing like wandering the woodlands, alone, with nothing but the sounds of nature. Well except maybe wandering the woodlands, alone, with nothing but the sounds of nature, and the occasional blast from my shotgun. Squirrel hunting Northern Michigan. Here is a ten minute video from yesterdays hunt. I hope you all enjoy it.

Thanks for all the great comments. I sure had fun with this video. It surprises me how much I hear about the lack of black squirrels in other regions. They are quite abundant here. Of course they are just malanistic versions of either fox squirrels or grey squirrels. If you look real closely, you can often tell which of the squirrels they actually are. Sometimes their tail, or their facial fur will have tell tale signs of a fox or grey squirrel. Most of the time, in our area, the very large black squirrels are actually fox squirrels.
