Now that's cool! We have reds and grey but no black squirrels here in oklahoma.
Today I left the fishing gear at home along with the waterfowl hunting loads, and instead loaded up with some 2 3/4 inch #6 high brass lead shot and my old Ithaca Model 66 Super Single lever action 12 gauge. I decided rather than fish or hunt ducks, I would go out for my first squirrel hunt of the season. I spent 4 hours walking a couple creek bottoms in eastern Gladwin County in Northern Michigan. I ended seeing 9 squirrels and managed to get the Michigan squirrel trifecta by taking a black squirrel, a grey squirrel, and a fox squirrel.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :DAlboy79 LIKED above post
