This is the first year in a while that I have not belonged to Volusia Clay Target. I enjoy it but am not nowhere near the level of some of them guys. I mainly go just to have some fun. Wife likes it as well. Need to get me an over/under for skeet.
Iv recently been shooting trap at the local gun club and have been really enjoying it. Shot my first round of skeet yesterday and scored 18.
Any other shooters on here? Fall trap league starts and Iv been invited on a team.
I'm using an old Ithaca 30 full for trap and a 16ga. Citori for skeet.

I've sot on a lot of leagues the years. Had a lot fun and met a lot of friends. Shoot trap, skeet, sporting clays and wobble trap.
I've used semi-auto, over/under, and side x side. On this summer league shot terribly, had a new Weatherby over/under and was never
comfortable with it. Since I got a boat, truck, and English Pointer pup this summer it was hard to tell the wife I needed another shotgun.
I'll wait a few months before I bring one home.

We shoot skeet several times during the summer at my hunt club, love my Benelli. Now that hunting season is in we won't until after the end of January.
We also, have an annual turkey shoot event - with the normal turkey, ham & sausage rounds but do a money round & kids divisions.
I look forward to it every year, lots of fun
Hard to do any major shootin around here unless you plan ahead, with a 2 box limit on shells - you gotta stock up.

just clays out behind the barn. never been to a real set up. they probably wouldnt let us drink beer there. lol seems i remember soar fingers and arms, from resetting the throwers. loads of fun for sure. i see the clays are like 10bucks now at wallyworldyou can still get 7$ boxes of shell though at least.
on a side note on ammo. i seen 22s on the shelf at gander mountain here!!!! havent seen that in a long time. i guess everyone is running out of room to store it.
I shoot skeet and trap. I change barrels on my sweet sixteen, depend on what I am shooting. Also SKB over/under and 20/28. I can't hit 'em like I used to. We have a new skeet.trap range in Carroll County about 3 miles from our home. Haven't been yet. We (neighbor) have a "slinger" here at the lake. I enjoy shooting.
I pistol hunt squirrels. Rat shot loads since they ain't nothing but tree rats.

Started out in the 60's in Europe. It was a social thing over there. My wife and I both shot NSSA and really enjoyed it. I began with a Rem 870 and soon went to a full set of all four gauges. Won a few .410 events. When I came back to the states bird hunting took over and I rarely shot. It's a great way to get in shape for a bird season. Over the years I tried ever imaginable shotgun but went back to dancing with the one that brought me. A "C" class Rem 870 - slicker than snot. It impresses the girls (and guy shooters as well) when you shoot the first clay of a double, catch your empty, put it in the bag and then shoot the second one. Don't know if I could still do that.

My nest purchase will be a Cynergy Classic Trap with 32" barrels and GraCoil recoil reduction with adjustable pad in 12 ga. Come on Xmas get here soon...........
Iv also got my eye on a Citori 16ga. with 28" barrels. Cant decide if I want the English stock or Monte Carlo stock. Iv got both but am partial to the English stock.
Decisions decisions.
Cane Pole, next time I come down to the Foot I'll bring my iron. To much to do down there. Crappie fish, bowfish, and now clays. Sounds like paradise.
