    Default New to Hunting


    Hi, I am new to hunting as a adult, I have always been around firearms and know how to handle them properly, I went hunting when I was a kid with my granddad & uncle (many years ago) and now I want to start hunting as a adult. I was wondering if their is anyone who wanted to take a newbie out & me the basics of hunting. I have read all of the books, magazines I could find and now I want experience it first hand. It could be small game, pheasant or deer, it does not matter to me. I live in S. E. MI near Detroit, MI. If anyone needs someone to go with them, feel free to contact me on here or let me know where I can go because I don't mind going by myself, one way or another I am going to go hunting this year....

    Downriver,

    I'd be more than happy to do whatever I can to help you out. I fish in your area all the time in the spring and have a couple of buddies from Taylor that lease some land up by me (that I help manage) on the Jackson/Ingham county boarder.

    I also see that you might be interested in attending the Fall Crappie Camp up in Houghton Lake? Hopefully you will attend this event. Great time with a great group of people. Best of all, it is a great way to network, learn about new locations, new tactics, and make new friends that will basically bend over to help you out in any way they can. You go as a newbie but leave as a buddy. Most of us are involved in all aspects of the outdoors... bowhunting, rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader, goose, duck, deer to name a few.

    Get with me if you attend the event (Rich) or shoot me a PM if you are not able to go.
