They look absolutely delicious. Love that venison... Looks like you are getting them ready for sure. Thanks for sharing, Ferdi
and they are still hitting the ground

Looks like at least 3 shooters. Hey, RR did you ever get last years problem resolved? Did your son-in-law get his rack back or was it your grandson? I might be thinking of someone else not sure. I thought it might have been you.
Looks like a couple good ones, I have the hardest time judging in the velvet!! Speaking of still hitting the ground, I hit a tiny one yesterday morning on the way to fish. Hate that, but that's life.

Nephew paid his 5K fine, lost his license to hunt for 3 years and has a new outlook on his decision making process. Facebook can open your eyes to reality and the lesson
learned hopefully will change some of his ideas of what constitutes friendships. Jealous friends will reveal themselves for what they are in time. Old uncle brought him up
with lessons and heart to heart talks but the choice was his to make and he made a bad choice. He paid the price. In three years, I'll let him prove himself again. Just hope
he gets it right next time. I'm optimistic.

what a way to learn what the current laws in Texas are ! Oklahoma changes some part of their hunting regulations it seems every year, so I've learned ( in the school of hard knocks not unlike your nephew) if your going to hunt, you need to revisit the manual every year to keep current.
I don't believe any true sportsman sets out to break any of the regulations, but not knowing what the law is --- well that's part of our reasonability before we take to the field.
Hey Pops! Its yer long lost son. I will be home to hunt this year. Thata a fine herd yer growing!
