These two bucks, 10 point and 16 point double droptine and a doe with a large tumor on her face were taken with the same arrow
in a 3 week period. Nephew is on cloud 9 today. Hunted for 4 years without taking anything and this year seems like his mojo got
on track and he is talking so fast I have a hard time keeping up.

Yeah, both bucks will be shoulder mounted and hung on the wall. He has two he took in consecutive years off my place with his '06, but he is more proud
of his bow kills. Me too.

Texans, just a note. Read your game laws. If your hunting a two buck county.........make sure you can shoot two trophy bucks in your county. Nephew
lost his double drop tine to the Game Warden Museum tonight. Your second buck in a two buck county has to be a cull buck, in my county and the
neighboring county. Facebook got him in trouble when a jealous neighbor called the game wardens on him. He gets to keep his 10 point, but the ddt and
the meat are gone. Pictures are good, but on facebook, they can get you in trouble. Game wardens are investigating the neighbor that made the call because
he is known to poach and hunt bow season with a gun. What goes around can come around to bite you where you sit. Nephew was hunting on a county
line that crosses my property and that is what is being investigated. No fines issued yet. Game warden was very fair in his assessment of the situation.
We still have our fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear that, so the property line is one county 2 buck limit and the other is not? I hope he has a chance of getting it back.

Both counties are two buck but only one trophy per county. A survey crew is coming out to mark the county line and you can bet a comfy blind will straddle that line.
Out one window in one county a trophy buck can be taken and on the other side of the blind out of another window, a trophy buck can be taken from another county.
I have owned this property for over 30 years and always hunted other property on lease. Now is the time to hunt my own property and take what is legal with no doubts
about what is legal. One friend and one nephew are the only hunters on my property in those 30 years. Buck ratio is two to one doe. Time to thin the herd.
No decisions made on anything yet, but I will have documented papers/stakes showing the county line.
