Buck was legally tagged but when he posted the picture on facebook, he opened himself up to misinformation from jealous rival hunters from nearby properties. All it took
was a call to the Game Wardens to bring about doubt and inquiries. Investigation ensued and meat and head was confiscated as evidence. The caller is a well known
poacher and is being investigated. He had called and cussed out my nephew for taking the buck when he himself wanted to take it, but the nephew beat him to it.
Competition can get complicated and everyone lost. The Game Wardens have full control of who wins and who looses. The dollar amount has yet to be determined, but
it will be more than the nephew can afford........so he lost big time. Between 5 & 10 k is what the fine will be and he will be allowed to pay it out. He did get to fill his
freezer with a doe, so he is done for the season.
That uscks big time.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
