I thought we had a deal for you to save that deer for this Ga. Boy! Congrats on a great deer and especially with a bow. I am ready for my Illinois trip.

Earl, we had to call in the game wardens due to so many gun shots across the creek bed and our side of the creek got plum scared some poacher
was gonna take the one we wanted you to have. Sorry we couldn't wait til you got here to do your thing. The gun shots have been quieted hopefully
till gun season starts. Talked with the property owners across the creek and ain't nobody got permission to hunt anything since it's all in the city limits.
We still got a couple of 180 class bucks to keep our attention and hope we can save 'em from getting poached. I want you to know I thought about you
the evening this one was taken. We could have used one more expert tracker to help us find him to save the meat. Good luck to you in Illinois. Lots cooler
up that way even now. Thanks for the shout out too.

Sorry for the slow response. We just found out our 40 acre honey hole will be bow hunted by four folks the week before we are planning to be there. Luckily the corn behind us is not going to be cut until November 1st. We are now planning on going about four days later than originally planned. Who knows it all may be a blessing in disguise.

You got that right Earl. Kind of like making a silk purse from a sow's ear...........or something like that. Good luck to your group.

This is the before picture. Glad we got him on the game cam before the season started. Still can't find a cap to fit his swollen head....
