If that squirrel is fried slow with a lid on the pan, it will be plenty tender. Make some good gravy from the squirrel pan, fried potatoes and some big homemade bisquits!!
That, to me, is one of the finest meals a person can sit down to. Squirrel is my favorite wild game with rabbit running a close 2nd!!

Oh this western boy has so much to learn... Last year my Service Engine soon light came on my truck. It was time for registration so I needed to get it fixed as we have a smog check requirement in my county. It was an evap code. So I do the simple stuff first. Change out the Gas cap kind of thing but no help. So then I take it to the Chevy dealer. They tell me I need to replace my gas tank. YEah thats right .. The estimate was $1600. What can I do right. They tell me one of those little SOB's you have laying on the table for some reason got up under my truck and chewed up the top of my tank and the evap hose. The tank was ruined. I cant believe it but need to get it fixed so Go for it . I ask if my insurance would cover it but they didn't know. Mummm I call the insurance company up and fortunately they covered it. Cost me $100. So I figure I am owed about 100 of these to break even.

I have these all over my house and have been trapping them. 50 is the count so far this year! I have then been taking them far away. Perhaps I can reduce the commute now and give the misses a few of these recipes.

I was on a thread a while back where someone showed a Ruger 22 they just purchased. I said something about how I liked it and that shooting it was cheaper. I got a few responses saying they could reload 38s cheaper than buying 22's... I thought they were trippin and didn't want to respond to their comments. I was thinking of doing a trade with them cause I could use 500 rounds of 38's.
